Adrian Dita
Director Corporate Affairs Vodafone Romania S.A.
Adrian Dita was born in 1964, is single and is fluent in English. Adrian Dita is Director Corporate Affairs for Vodafone Romania S.A. His responsibility is to implement corporate affairs and communications strategies in Romania, providing information to and influencing key decision-makers within the government and policy-making bodies. He is in charge of promoting the company’s corporate image and objectives to authorities, local communities, shareholders and employees.
Before joining Vodafone Romania, Adrian worked four years for MobiFon, primarily in the sales departement, and held several positions.
Adrian Dita received his BS in Fine Mechanics from the Polytechnics University of Bucharest in 1991 and was awarded a BA in Commercial Relations, Finance & Banks from the Romanian American University in 1998. He also attended the ASEBUSS EMBA Program from 2001 to 2003 and National Defense College in 2004.
Andreea Rosca

Andreea Rosca works in the economic media field since 1992 and, for six years, she was the Editor-in-Chief of Capital weekly magazine, published by the Swiss group Ringier. Andreea was the leader of the team that launched the Top Capital series: 300 richest Romanians, 100 business women, 100 companies to work for. Starting January 2006 she was Project Coordinator and then, General Manager of NewsIn, the press agency which is part of Realitatea media group.
Since February 2007, Andreea Rosca is the General Manager of Business Standard, the financial and economic daily of Realitatea Catavencu group, launched in May 2007. Andreea graduated the Academy of Economic Sudies, in Bucharest, and has a Master Degree in Business Administration from Open University, UK.
Bogdan Baltazar

Prior to working as an independent financial consultant, Bogdan Baltazar was the president of the financial consulting firm BB&P. Between 1996 and 1999 he occupied a number of important positions within some leading banks: Chairman of the Board of BRD – Groupe Societe Generale (before and after its privatization), Senior Banking Advisor for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
From 1964 to 1981 Bogdan Baltazar worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, being responsible for the UNDP / UN and for the Economic and Social Council, then as the Head of the International Economic Organizations Department, being Romania’s main negotiator for The General Agreement of Tariffs and Trade. For three years he was in charge of coordinating the economic and financial relations with the African and Middle East countries.
Bogdan’s formal education includes City University of New York, MA in Economics (1971); Bucharest University, Ph.D. in International Relations (1964) and Bucharest Polytechnic Institute, M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (1962).
In 2000, Bogdan Baltazar was awarded the “National Order for Outstanding Merit” and he was declared “Man of the Year 2000” by the Romanian Cultural Foundation.
The journal Cotidianul declared him “Man of the Decade” for his contribution to the Romanian financial and banking system.
At present, he is a Member of the Board of BRD- Groupe Societe Generale and of the National Credit Guarantee Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises. Bogdan Baltazar was born in 1939, is married and has two children.

Bogdan Georgescu has been part of the Colliers team ever since its inception in Romania, in 1996. Until 1999, Bogdan worked as an Office Leasing Broker representing multinational companies with their needs in Romania. In 1999, Bogdan became the Managing Director of the Companyand since 2001 he has been Managing Partner for Romania.
Besides his management activity, Bogdan is also active in the Institutional Investment Sales market.
Bogdan Georgescu was awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration from the “Academy of Economic Studies”. Presently, he is affiliates with ANEVAR.

Calin Clej is the new CSD Marketing Manager in Romania for PepsiCo International, coordinating the brand strategy for Pepsi, Pepsi Light, Pepsi Max, Pepsi Twist Lemon, Pepsi Twist Light Lemon, Pepsi X, Mountain Dew, 7 UP and Mirinda.
Calin has a five years experience in carbonated soft drinks. In the first two years, he was the Consumer Marketing Manager within Quadrant Amroq Beverages – PepsiCo’s Authorized Bottler for Romania and Rep. of Moldova.
Holding this position, he coordinated the team of Brand Managers, together achieving great rewards.

Cristian Dragos is the Sales & Marketing Director of GE Money Romania since June 2006. Previous employers in the financial services sector include Banca Romaneasca and GE Capital Services.
Cristian’s professional training also includes extensive programs in management, finance, economics, and banking in several countries such as United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and The Netherlands. He teaches Money & Financial Markets in the City University MBA Program organized in Bucharest at the Romanian Banking Institute.
Between 2004-2006 Cristian served as President of CFA Romania / Asociatia Romana a Analistilor Financiari, the local society of CFA Institute. Cristian Dragos is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation since 2001.

Cristian Hostiuc

Although Cristian Hostiuc wanted to become a banker, graduating in 1996 from the Finance and Banking Faculty within the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, he is now a very successful journalist. In its second year of study, in 1993, Cristian joined the ORA newspaper team, this being the turn point of his career. He then worked for six years within the Mediafax press agency as a reporter for banking, macroeconomic and business sectors. During this period, Cristian helped creation of several Mediafax products. In 1998, he was part of the team creating and producing PROFIT, a ProTV show. Since May 2000 he is leading Ziarul Financiar, first as a Deputy Editor-In-Chief, then, since May 2003, as an Editor-In-Chief and, since 2005, as the Editorial Director of Ziarul Financiar. Between 1998 – 2002 Dana Crisan was Jr. Consultant for Land O’Lakes International – an international development program developed through USAID, a joint program between the US Government and Land O’Lakes for the development of the dairy and poultry industries in Romania.

Gilda Lazar

Since 1997 Gilda Lazar has been Corporate Affairs Director for JTI Romania, her responsibilities being to create, develop and execute communications strategies and plans in support of business objectives. She is also in charge of the government relations, community relations, internal communications, special events and consumer relations. In 2005 Gilda became vice -president of the “Romanian Association of PR Professionals” in charge with Institutional PR.
Gilda published more than 5,000 articles in national newspapers and magazines (Curentul, Romania Libera, Dreptatea, among others). Several of them were selected for publication in various foreign newspapers (“Courrier International”, “The Atlanta Journal and Constitution”) In 1995, she was declared the “Best woman journalist in Romania”.
In 1986 Gilda received her MA from the University of Bucharest, Philological Faculty, and in 2006 she was studying for her second MA in Business Law at Romanian American University.

Irinel Ilie has been working within Hewlett Packard Romania for nine years. She first started as Product Manager, she continued as Business Developer and now she is the Country Manager of Imaging and Printing Group. Irinel is one of the initiators of the IT industry association: APDETIC.
Irinel graduated Electronics and Telecommunications Faculty in Bucharest in 1990, a Marketing & Management program at IROMA, delivered by Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Marseille, in 1994, and an Executive MBA at ASEBUSS, in 2003.

Liviu Sfrija

Liviu Sfrija joined Henkel Romania in 1997 as Commercial Director, position which he occupied for more than one year.
Before becoming the President of Henkel Romania in 2005, Liviu was Sales Manager, Managing Director and General Manager.
Between 1994 and 1997, Liviu Sfrija was Sales Director for Rom West Euro and two years earlier he owned a company which developed software for Romania manufacturers.
Liviu received his mathematics-informatics degree in 1985 from Iasi University. From 1996 to 1998 he participated in the EMBA program, organized by Asebuss, the Institute for Business and Public Administration Bucharest in cooperation with the University of Washington, Seattle.
Maria Stancu

Maria has joined KPMG in the early 1990s and has played an essential role in the development of KPMG’s strong image in Romania. Maria is a member of the European Association of Communication Directors, based in Brussels. Prior to joining the firm, she studied economics, finance, accounting and economic journalism at the Academy of Economic Studies (ASE) in Bucharest. Within KPMG, Maria was closely involved in the reform of accounting in Romania in the mid 1990s. She coordinated numerous PHARE programs and dealt with the implementation and management of all KPMG projects financed by International Funding Agencies in Romania. As member of the KPMG CEE Marketing Communications Task Force, Maria has played an active role in developing the marketing strategy across the region.

Obie L. Moore is the Managing Partener with the Bucharest office of international law firm Salans and has over 20 years of experience practicind law in the emerging markets of Central and Southeast Europe, Southeast Asia, the India sub-continent and the Middle East.
Based in Bucharest for more than 15 years, Mr. Moore is a recognisez mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, and private equity lawyear, having Romania, Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Moldova.
Mr. Moore established the Salans Bucharest office in 1997. Between 1994 and 1997 he served in Bucharest as Managing Director and Vice President of the Romanian Enterprise American Fund, a major venture capital fund established by the US government to invest in private sector companies in Romania. Befor relocating to Bucharest, Mr. Moore was a senior associate in the international corporate and banking practice area of the Washington, D.C. law firm Shaw Pittman.
Mr. Moore was the President of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Romania (2002 – 2004) and a Board Member of the same organisation from 2000 to present. He currently serves as AmCham Romania Co-Chair of the EU Committee, Chiar of the Infrastructure and Property Development Task Force and Chair of Judicial Reform Task Force. In addition, he is the Co-Chair of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Cetral Europe Law Committee.
Ovidiu Antropolescu

Ovidiu Artopolescu, 50 years, joined Microsoft Romania in March 1999 as Business Development Manager for the partnership with the independent software vendors, systems integrators and in-house developers.
In 2000, Ovidiu received the President Award during the Microsoft Global Summit in Atlanta and in 2001 he was promoted as Enterprise and Partners Group Manager. In May 2004 he became Executive Director of Microsoft Romania and starting July 2005, he was appointed as General Manager of Microsoft Romania. Currently, Ovidiu is the Director, Complex & Large Deals, Central & Eastern Europe HQ for Microsoft Romania.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Ovidiu worked three years for IBM Romania as Project Manager and Quality Assurance Manager, covering mainly the Romanian Customs and the Ministry of Finance projects, 12 years as senior researcher in the Institute for Computers (computer testing lab, and computer assisted simulators lab) and three years as systems engineer in Petrom (OMV).
Ovidiu graduated from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest (Computer Science Department) in 1981 and University of Bucharest (Faculty of Mathematics) in 1992. In 1994, he attended on job training on management in Huntsville, Alabama – scholarship sponsored by the University of Alabama in Huntsville and Space Center Integrated Inc.
Ovidiu currently lives in Bucharest together with his wife and 12 year-old son. He is fluent in English and French and enjoys traveling, playing tennis and bridge.

From december 2001, Raluca Mandache Simu is Head of Communications for ABN AMRO, Bucharest. She is responsible to implement the communication strategy of the bank and marketing strategy for corporate banking segment, to manage Communications budget and Corporate Marketing budget and represent the bank to different institutions and organizations.
Prior to joining ABN AMRO bank, Raluca worked for Phoenixmed Bucharest, one of the major distributors of parapharmaceutical products in Romania. As Marketing Executive for this firm, her tasks were to identify, plan and implement the marketing mix elements, to handle negotiations with the producers, to plan and develop marketing strategies.
In 1999 Raluca received her bachelor degree in International Trade and Transactions from the Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest. Roberto Musneci, born in Rome in 1963 is the Senior Partner of Serban & Musneci Consulting, a consultancy firm operating in the field of Strategic, Institutional Communication and Public Relations.
Roberto is the former Vice President and Area Director Eastern Europe- South, GlaxoSmithKline- a group which also operates in Croatia, Serbia, Central Asia etc.
In 1987 Roberto graduated with the distinction Magna Cum Laude from the International University of Social Studies in Rome.
Roberto is Member of different professional associations in Romania: he is the Vice President of the Aspen Institute in Romania with the mission to foster enlightened leadership and open-minded dialogue. Roberto was also the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania until 2006.
Stefan Liute

Stefan Liute is co-founder (1999) and strategy director of Grapefruit, a branding consultancy with offices in Bucharest and Iasi, Romania, that serves local and global clients.
With a post-graduate degree in communication/PR and a sustained interest in strategic thinking and brand naming, Stefan has helped rebrand a few of Romania’s largest corporate and product brands. He is now involved in simlar projects for pharmaceutical, automotive, FMCG and business services clients.
Stefan has completed the first Romanian translation of a book on corporate and brand identity (2004, The Wolff-Olins New Guide to Identity) and went on with the translation of Wally Olins’ On Brand (2006). He is a speaker at domestic and international branding events (2004, the first Romanian speaker to an international branding conference) and regularly writes for business and trade journals at home and abroad (2005, the first article by a Romanian national on Brandchannel.com).
Since 2001, Stefan is the editor of The Weekly Wire (ISSN 1584-966X), a weekly news digest about branding and corporate identity.
Veronica Savanciuc

A graduate of the Academy for Economic Studies, International Trade Faculty, Veronica Savanciuc has also an Executive Master of Business Administration, ASEBUSS/ University of Washington and an impressive number of specializations in advertising and marketing.
In 1993, Veronica identified the development opportunity on the Romanian market for an extremely challenging and equally beautiful domain: marketing and advertising. Together with her partner, she set up several international companies in the sector: Lowe & Partners (1993), Initiative (1994), Medic One (1999), Brand Connection (2004) and Lowe Public Relations (2006), which today are partially owned by Interpublic Group Of Companies (USA, NYSE), one of the leading advertising holding worldwide.
A founding shareholder in each venture, today Veronica Savanciuc is the President of this group of companies.
Veronica Savanciuc actively participates in various professional associations in ROmania, among which are: IAA( she is the President of IAA Senate), FIC( member of the Board of Directors) RAAA, the Romanian Advertising Council.
Veronica Savanciuc has received the honour of several professional awards: in 1998, she was designed one of the ” Leading Women Entrepreneurs of the World” from The Star Group (US) and in 2003 she was awarded the prize “Advertising Woman of the Decade in Romania”, by the Romanian advertising industry.
